Taka Solutions’ 4-year Design-Build-Operate project with Index Towers Dubai has now moved into its Operations phase, with project implementation completed recently. The operations phase, expected to conclude in 2026, will include comprehensive energy management, measurement and verification of energy savings, and remote energy monitoring.
Energy Efficiency Measures (EEMs) such as Energy Control & Management Systems (ECMS), Metering, DX Unit Retrofit, Smart Pressure Independent Control Valves (PICVs), BMS recommissioning, and more were successfully identified during the audit process and implemented during execution.
Taka Solutions forecasts to achieve 22% of energy savings per annum through the EEMs implemented, which is equivalent to an annual greenhouse gas emission reduction (or carbon dioxide equivalent) of 1,864,751 kg.
