It is a privilege for Taka Solutions to be one of the first companies in the private sector to sign the UAE Climate Responsible Companies Pledge launched by the UAE’s Minister of Climate Change and the Environment, HE Mariam bint Mohammed Saeed Hareb Almheiri.
The pledge was signed by 21 leading private companies in the UAE as founding signatories in the presence of HE Mariam bint Mohammed Almheiri, Minister of Climate Change and the Environment, at The Fourth National Dialogue on Climate Ambition (NDCA) “Roadmap to achieve net zero in the hospitality sector” event, at Emirates Towers last week.
This pledge aims to align with the UAE’s Net Zero 2050 initiative by increasing the engagement of the private sector in the country’s decarbonization drive. We at Taka Solutions are committed to strengthening our collective efforts to tackle climate change and help the UAE Government achieve the national net-zero target 2050.
Taka Solutions CEO Henrique Pereira also addressed guests, highlighting how Taka Solutions is enabling access to smart energy efficiency models and reducing the barriers to energy efficiency in the hospitality sector.
Congratulations to the other companies that signed the pledge, including Emerson, BEEAH Group, Majid Al Futtaim, Standard Chartered Bank,Masdar (Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company), Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA), ALDAR.
